1. Introduction
This machine adopts vertical type
electro-slag welding, which can weld the inner baffle and around plates more
reliably. There are CONSUMABLE NOZZLE type and WIRE ELECTRODE type ESW. For
Consumable nozzle type, it has the advantages of simple operation, low
investment and high usage cost. While, for wire electrode, its operation is
very complicate, investment is larger and usage cost is lower.

3. Working principle
For tighter welding of internal baffles to
box-beam, there is space left ahead of welding between baffles and box-beam
during assembly of baffles. First hoist the box-beam post CO2 back-welding to
frame of this machine, then the electro-slag welding power hung on the boom
will perform vertical electro-slag welding at the precut hole of work-piece.
The column-boom frame can travel at will along lengthways direction of
work-piece.
4. Main features

The column-boom frame is the body of the machine, serving as fixing
welding power and making electro-welding nozzle aiming at the welding seam;
Both column and boom are welding structure members, stress relieved
post welding, guaranteeing safe, reliable run and long life;
Travel trolley drives the entire frame and welding head into run by
means of A.C. motor via reducer;
The American Lincoln DC-600 or Chengdu Zhenzhong ZH-1250 welding
power.
All motion parts have lubrication system;
